Computers and Structures, Inc. is pleased to announce a 60 minute web demonstration that will highlight the innovative and revolutionary features of the all-new SAFE V12.

This recently released SAFE is the ultimate integrated tool for designing reinforced and post-tensioned concrete floor and foundation systems. This version introduces versatile 3D object-based modeling and visualization tools. Charged with the power of SAPFire, this release redefines standards in practicality and productivity.

From framing layout to detail drawing production, SAFE integrates every aspect of the engineering design process in one easy and intuitive environment. Although its name is unchanged, the all-new SAFE is vastly enhanced and improved in every facet. It provides unmatched benefits with its unprecedented combination of power, functionality and ease-of-use.

This demonstration will address both Reinforced Concrete and Post-Tensioned design.

The following topics will be addressed:

   • Project Initialization - Importing of DXF/DWG files
   • New drafting tools and techniques for quick layout of complex slabs
   • Analysis of flat slabs and two-way slabs
   • Design - Slab and beam design for the latest codes
   • Output and Display - Automated generation of standard reports
   • Detailing - Fully automated detailing of slabs, beams, mats, and footings
   • SAFE P/T Modeling, Analysis and Design
   • SAFE P/T Output and Display options
